Fall ECE Energy and Power Research Day
On Friday, November 8th the TAMU Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Energy & Power Group (EPG) invites engineers to explore the exciting new research results from ECE EPG students, staff, and faculty. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) on A&M’s new RELLIS campus, the event will also include a tour of the brand new control center research lab. The Fall Research Day presentation topics include:
- a massively digitized power grid
- machine learning in power system reliability
- advances in solar PV controllers
- electric grid cybersecurity considerations
- improved algorithms for distribution fault identification
- power system geomagnetic disturbance analysis, including the new Texas magnetometer network
- undergrad research results
- and more cutting edge, innovative work!
