Research Day Registration Form

Fall ECE Energy and Power Research Day

On Friday, November 8th the TAMU Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Energy & Power Group (EPG) invites engineers to explore the exciting new research results from ECE EPG students, staff, and faculty.  Hosted at the state-of-the-art Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) on A&M’s new RELLIS campus, the event will also include a tour of the brand new control center research lab. The Fall Research Day presentation topics include:

  • a massively digitized power grid
  • machine learning in power system reliability
  • advances in solar PV controllers
  • electric grid cybersecurity considerations
  • improved algorithms for distribution fault identification
  • power system geomagnetic disturbance analysis, including the new Texas magnetometer network
  • undergrad research results
  • and more cutting edge, innovative work!

The event is free, includes lunch, and provides 0.6 CEUs (or 6 PDHs).  However, registration is required and may be limited.  Registration is available at …
